JAMESTOWN — A new vlog series created and produced by Jamestown Tourism is
ready to generate some buzz and drive visitors to the area.

“Discover Jamestown” was formed as a unique way to explore and experience the heart of the North Dakota prairie. Hosts Warren Abrahamson and his sister, Tamela Abrahamson, lead the journey through Jamestown experiences and meet with other professionals, enthusiasts and historians on behalf of the viewer, giving them insight into the many ways Jamestown can be explored.

“This video series was designed and created to give potential visitors a different way to plan their travels,” said Amanda Thrift, Jamestown Tourism Board president. “Understanding that there are many ways someone can experience Jamestown, this vlog will give viewers a taste of what our region has for them to explore.”

Different experiences viewers will see include biking, kayaking, birding, eateries, experiences and history chats.

“This format is a growing trend visitors use to research and plan their travels,” said Emily Bivens, Jamestown Tourism executive director. “Those who have been here before and those who have never heard of Jamestown will see this different perspective and consider making Jamestown a destination.”
