Sgt. Andrew Stoen of the Jamestown Police Department was among 35 law enforcement supervisors from North Dakota who graduated from a three-week leadership course on April 29.

The course was held at the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy in Bismarck. The International Association of Chiefs of Police, Leadership in Police Organizations course delivers modern behavioral science concepts and theories uniquely tailored to the law enforcement environment.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has hosted this course since 2012.
