The North Dakota Safety Council is partnering with Hess Corporation to provide free training designed to prepare communities, companies, and emergency personnel to safely and confidently respond to oil and gas emergencies. This training will be provided in conjunction with the 2018 Southwest Region EMS Conference, Saturday, Sept. 29, in Medora.

Training topics will include an active triage and mass casualty incident tabletop drill, hazmat response, and self-protection techniques for responders.

A reimbursement grant is available, thanks to funding from Hess Corporation, making it free to attend Saturday's oil and gas track. Those involved in law enforcement, fire rescue, or emergency management are eligible to apply.

For more course details, or to register, go to www.ndemsa.org . For questions on the reimbursement grant, call the NDSC at (800) 932-8890.
