Vikki Coombs retired as Victory Christian School executive director at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. Coombs said she is grateful for the opportunity to have nurtured children at VCS for four years and to see their growth.

Victory Christian School has hired a new executive director, Mike Woodley.

Woodley grew up in Bowman, North Dakota. After high school graduation, he earned his Bachelor of Arts with a major in music education. After starting his career at the University of Jamestown as registrar, he completed his Master of Science with an emphasis in educational administration.
Woodley and his wife, Emily, have four children ages 20, 12, 8 and 5.
Victory Christian School has added child care to its program. Patty Fisher is the new director for the Infant-Three-year-old program. Fisher was raised in the Grand Forks area. She attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota, and graduated with a degree in early childhood development from North Central University in Minneapolis.

Fisher and her husband have three sons, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. They live in Jamestown.
Heather Tomlin-Rohr joins Victory Christian School with 20 years of experience in early childhood education.
Tomlin-Rohr is a Jamestown native who graduate from the University of Jamestown and with a major in elementary education and a minor in early childhood, a kindergarten endorsement and a concentration in special education. Afer graduating in 2002, Tomlin-Rohr joined the staff at Louis L’Amour Elementary in Jamestown and has been teaching kindergarten there ever since.
“The opportunities that lie ahead for my students and me at Victory Christian School are very exciting," Tomlin-Rohr said. "I am eager to share my professional experiences by providing our students with a multitude of opportunities while witnessing them blossom both spiritually and academically.”

Tomlin-Rohr is married to Jason Rohr. She also serves on the James River Humane Society Board and as the vice president of the North Dakota Kindergarten Association. Having been a top-four finalist for North Dakota Teacher of the Year in 2016 and 2018, Tomlin-Rohr is now a part of Kirsten Baesler’s North Dakota Teacher’s Cabinet.
