April Byers and Philippus Holtzhausen, both Jamestown, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Wayne and Beverly Byers, Jamestown, and Philippus and Corrie Holtzhausen, South Africa.
April's grandparents are the late Albert and Mildred Byers and the late Marie Fiore.
April is a 2000 graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown, and a 2001 graduate of Brown College, Mendota Heights, Minn., with a major in radio broadcasting. She is employed as a waitress with the Depot Cafe, Jamestown.
Philippus is employed by Browning Honey Co., Jamestown.
