Author Jana Bommersbach will be discussing her newest book, "A Stolen Life," and signing books from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 18, in the Louis L'Amour Room of Alfred Dickey Library. The event is hosted by the James River Valley Library System

The Gwinner, N.D., native is celebrating her seventh publication, two of which are set in North Dakota. "A Stolen Life" details the true story of Debra Milke, a young woman falsely accused of murdering her son, being sent to death row and ultimately being exonerated 23 years later, according to the press release.
