The Great American 4th of July Kiddie Bike Parade begins at 10 a.m. Monday, July 4, on First Avenue in downtown Jamestown.

Kids ages 12 and younger and their parents/guardians are encouraged to join in the event with their bikes and wagons in their most festive red, white and blue costumes and decorations.

Those participating are asked to assemble at 9:30 a.m. at the 1st Street West parking lot near the railroad tracks in front of Gun & Reel Sports.

The 4th of July Kiddie Bike Parade is a leisurely parade. All riders must wear helmets and no motorized vehicles are allowed.

The Jamestown Police Department will lead the parade, which will proceed south on First Avenue to Eighth Street, then to 2nd Avenue Southeast to McElroy Park. At the Sertoma Shelter at McElroy Park, Sertomans will have free root beer floats and winning entries for best decorated will be announced.
