The 33rd annual Medora Car Show will be held June 26 in Medora, N.D. The exhibition for the public is from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 26. Anyone wishing to show a vehicle in any of the 20 different classes through 1985 (including customs) and a modern collectible class ('86-'10) should call 701-225-8851 or 701-225-8149, or register on the show grounds by the Badlands Motel June 26.
The first-place winners from the 2009 Medora Show will be on display in the Community Building along with a special center exhibit: two rare 1930 Willys-Knights, a plaidside touring and a plaidside roadster, both brought by Al Giddings, award-winning underwater photographer and co-producer of the film "Titanic."
A 40-minute film of Giddings' photography will be shown at 7:30 p.m. June 25, in the Medora Community Building, followed by a talk by Giddings. The Winners' Circle/Special Exhibit will then open for public view. This exhibit is also open on June 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.
The Medora Car Show is sponsored by the Dakota Western Auto Club of Dickinson, N.D.
