A benefit for Tina Farthing is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the Gladstone Inn & Suites, Jamestown.
The benefit will be a baked potato bar for a freewill offering, along with a silent auction and bake sale.
Farthing, who lives in Jamestown, was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic cervical cancer in 2020. In remission from 2020 into part of 2022, she learned that her cancer reoccurred last summer and has moved to a lung. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and immunotherapy at Roger Maris Cancer Center.
Farthing works part time for Easter Seals of North Dakota and has five children including two sons at home.
Donations to help Farthing may also be made at the event or at First Community Credit Union, to the Tina Farthing Benefit Account.
