There will be a benefit dinner and silent auction for Linda Barnick from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus in Jamestown. Linda lost her rural Montpelier home and its contents to fire May 31.
The dinner will consist of sirloin steak sandwiches, beans, a salad bar, dessert and beverage. Hot dogs will be available for children. Donations will be accepted. Admission is a free-will offering. There will be a silent auction with many items to bid on.
This event is being sponsored by friends and family of Barnick, Montpelier Lutheran Church and friends from Building Blocks Preschool. Supplemental Funds are being provided by The Stutsman County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
