VALLEY CITY, N.D. — SueAnn Berntson, Buffalo, North Dakota, will perform with several of her children at the Music at City Park Bandshell starting at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, in Valley City.

Berntson is classically trained and gives voice lessons to a few students. She has recorded four albums, which will be available for purchase. Her husband, Tim, wrote and directs the “He’s Alive” Easter musical put on by Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City.

The Berntsons enjoy ministry opportunities with their family, their church and Child Evangelism Fellowship and sharing concerts around the area. The event in the park is expected to include a variety of musical selections including Southern gospel, country, big band, traditional hymns and more.

Music at the City Park Bandshell is sponsored by the Valley City Parks & Recreation along with other agencies and businesses. A freewill offering is taken to assist in continued work on the bandshell. Bring your lawn chair or blanket. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be relocated to the Valley City State University Performing Arts Hall on the VCSU campus.
