Big Sing brings together choruses for Jamestown performance
Minnesota and Wisconsin groups plus the Jamestown Choralaires will perform.
The Big Sing will bring together 11 choruses to perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Harold Newman Arena on the University of Jamestown campus.
The event will feature 200 male voices in concert, with 10 choruses coming from Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Jamestown Choralaires is the only North Dakota chorus to participate. The member choruses perform a group of massed chorus numbers and selected choruses will perform solo numbers. The mix of song titles range from gospel and patriotic to show tunes with even a silly sea shanty. The evening will end with a special closing number.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students and are available from Jamestown Choralaires members, Looysen I Care, The Dakota Store and at the door on concert night.
