Blake Wrigley was the $2,000 grand prize winner for the 2021 EZ Wheels Truck Drop contest sponsored by the EZ Wheels Shrine Club. The contest consisted of picking a day and time for a truck to drop through the ice at Little Britches Fishing Pond near Jamestown Reservoir.
Wrigley guessed the truck would drop on March 20 as did 52 other people but his guess that it would drop at 7:13 p.m. was the closest time without going over. The truck went through the ice at 7:31 p.m. on March 20. It was removed after it went through the ice.
The truck used was provided by West End Hide and Fur and Gordon's Interstate Towing towed the truck.
The EZ Wheels Shrine Club expressed its appreciation to sponsors and ticket purchasers for the event. Proceeds from the event will go toward EZ Wheels Shriner activities including Shriner health care for children and the hospital transportation fund.
