DAV Chapter 31 sells Forget-Me-Nots, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Hugo’s Family Marketplace.

Manhattan Short Film Festival, 6:30-8:30 p.m., The Arts Center. Admission: $15; $10 for Arts Center members.

Whoever Can Come Band jam session, 1-4 p.m., Barnes County Museum, 315 Central Ave. North, Valley City. Free; bring an instrument to play along.

St. Mary's Catholic Church chicken dinner, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Medina Legion Hall. Baked chicken, sides. Cost: $12.50 adults, $6 ages 6-12, free for 5 and younger. Country store also planned.
