Prairie Paws Rescue Pet Meet and Greet, 10 a.m. to noon at Jamestown Tractor Supply Company, 1100 Fifth Ave. S.E. This will be an outdoor event, weather permitting.
Daphne Drewello will provide history of the Alfred Dickey Library and insight on the plans for the development of the new combined library at the Front Porch Chat, 2 p.m., at the Stutsman County Memorial Museum 321 Third Ave. S.E. There is no admission charge.
16th Annual Kite Fest, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Meidinger Park, 17th Street and 17th Avenue Southwest. No admission charge. People from seven states and Canada will fly kites.
