Storytime, Alfred Dickey Library, 105 Third St. S.E., 10 a.m. The theme is "Camping." All programs are free.

Jamestown Parks Program Pool Carnival, 1:30 p.m., Jamestown Municipal pool. There will be games and prizes. For more information, call the Jamestown Parks and Recreation office, 252-3982. The cost to get in the pool is $2 per person unless a swimmer has a season pass.

Public meetings

Special Jamestown City Council meeting, 4 p.m., council chambers at City Hall. Final meeting of the current council and the organizational meeting of the new council.
