The first-ever Fort Ransom (N.D.) Bluegrass Festival, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the town's City Ball Park. The festival will feature the music of bands Monroe Crossing, Johnson Family Band, Cotton Wood, Stoney Run and the Fort Ransom Gang. Tickets are $25 at the gate for anyone older than 12. Anyone age 12 or younger gets in free. Audience members should bring lawn chairs or blankets.
