45th annual Lutefisk & Meatball Supper, 4 to 7 p.m. Trinity Lutheran Church, 523 fourth Ave. S.E. Cost: $15 adults, $4, children 11 and under; free for preschool. Sponsor: Men of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Benefit dinner and silent auction for Linda Barnick, who lost her rural Montpelier home and its contents to fire, 5 to 7:30 p.m., Knights of Columbus Hall. The dinner will include of sirloin steak sandwiches, beans, a salad bar, dessert and beverage. Hot dogs will be available for children. Admission is a free-will offering.
