ND Moves open house, 4 to 7 p.m., Jamestown City Hall, 102 3rd Ave. SE. Update on statewide active and public transportation plan for North Dakota.

Jamestown Parks and Recreation’s Healthy Connections Program fishing day, 10 a.m. to noon, Klaus Park, where James and Pipestem rivers meet. Build fishing poles at 10 a.m.; fish at 10:30 a.m.

Kiwanis/Ave Maria Village blood drive, noon to 6:30 p.m., Ave Maria Village, Barthel Room. Walk-ins welcome.

Root beer and orange float fundraiser, noon to 6 p.m., Ave Maria Village garage. Cost: $3. Proceeds benefit fundraiser for capital campaign for private rooms.

The Navy Band Great Lakes Wind Ensemble performs, City Park Bandshell, Valley City, after Color Guard presents colors at 7:15 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, program moves to Vangstad Auditorium, Valley City State University.
