Santa, Grinch to be at UJ wrestling event

The University of Jamestown Men’s Wrestling Team will hold its “Christmas Special” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Harold Newman Arena. The event is free to the public.

The men’s wrestling team will be dueling Northland Community Technical College and Concordia College of Moorhead. During the wrestling duals when a UJ wrestler wins his match an elf will hand out a free gift to the crowd.  

In between the two duals there will be a special wrestling match between Santa Claus and the Grinch. All children will be able to have mat side seating for this event to cheer on Santa.

There will be free gift wrapping for up to five gifts in the Harold Newman Arena lobby. People can bring up to five gifts that they need wrapped for Christmas from 6 to 8 p.m. and they will be wrapped free of charge.

The team will also be having bell ringers and red kettles for people to make a donation to the Salvation Army.
