The Friends 4 ND Vets 13th annual rally is Friday and Saturday, Aug. 16-17, at the Jamestown Civic Center.

Friday's events include a steak fry and raffle. Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Jamestown Civic Center for the social hour. The steak fry is at 6 p.m. There are $2,500 in cash prizes planned. Nashville recording artist Joe Schmidt & Tennessee Friends perform starting at 7 p.m. and there will be a cash bar all evening. People attending must be 21 years old to enter the designated alcohol sales area. Tickets are $20 for Friday's steak fry and are available from George, 320-5355, any ride captain, Bottles & Jugs or at the door.

A silent auction opens on Friday and concludes Saturday evening after the ride and dinner.

On Saturday, the CMA-Dakota Sonshine Riders will hold a freewill pancake breakfast from 8-10 a.m. at the Civic Center.

The annual 141 Honor Ride and Reunion are also planned Saturday. Registration for the Honor Ride is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Civic Center.; the cost is $10 per person and includes lunch and dinner. The Honor Ride leaves at 11 a.m. from the Civic Center. The group will return for a meal at 6 p.m. for participants and families of the fallen. School of Rock Music and a cash bar all evening are planned. Transportation is available for non-riders and families are welcome to this public event.
