The snake was part of an animal presentation by Chahinkapa Zoo in Wahpeton. The event was in conjunction with a community art project on the Narrative Geometry exhibit of Warli art by Vaishli Mohite at the Jamestown Arts Center. The residents and sixth-graders at St. John's Academy will use the memories of the animal experience to collaborate on a Warli style painting project next week. Tom LaVenture / The Sun
