Jamestown DECA students earn honors at state conference

Students took part in several events.

Students from the Jamestown High School DECA chapter participated in the state DECA conference from March 13-15 at the Ramkota in Bismarck.

Students from the chapter earned honors in events. Brooks Roaldson and Cadee Stockert took first place in the Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team event. Tyler Peihl placed third in Principles of Business Administration. Will Nelson took first in Human Resource ManagementAnja Mcdermid took third in Hotel and Lodging. Madison Grieve placed third in Restaurant and Food Service Management. Ross Motter and Ricky Anyang were finalists in Travel and the Tourism team event. Regan Keller was a finalist in Retail Merchandising and was also voted to be a state vice president.

Janna Kohler is the adviser of the group.
