Jamestown United Way holds Putt for U

The event raised funds for United Way.

Jamestown United Way held its 3rd annual This Putt’s for U with the help of the Jamestown Country Club and Valley Sales Company Inc. Thirteen teams took part in the event, a record for the nine-hole scramble tournament.

Prizes were given for the longest drive and the longest putt. Businesses participated by being a hole sponsor, registering to be in the event and providing door prizes.

Through this tournament, the United Way can provide funding support to 12 local agencies and further impact the community.

Jamestown United Way is seeking new board members who have a desire to make an impact on this community. Anyone interested is asked to contact a board member, find the group on Facebook or its website, https://www.jamestownunitedway.org .
