The May 25 meeting of the Stutsman County Area Retired Teachers Association was attended by 23 members and guests.
The program was presented by Deb Lambert from Bank Forward. She spoke on different scams and consumer frauds. An informational handout was available to members.
New officers were installed for the 2010-2011 year. They are as follows: president, Tom Norman; vice-president, Dave Lee; secretary, Loretta Jung; and treasurer, Lee Ham.
The recipient of the scholarship given by SCARTA is Leah Entzel. She will be pursuing a degree in music education.
The next meeting is Sept. 28.
