The January City Council Meeting was held on January 7, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Streeter City Hall.

Aldermen present: Lloyd Veil, Bryan Spitzer, Audrey Ruff.

Mayor - Jeff Williams called the meeting to order.

Motion to approve the agenda by Lloyd, seconded by Bryan.

December meeting minutes were read and approved by Bryan, seconded by Audrey.

There was nothing to report for the park at this time.

Water, Sewer, Garbage, Lagoon Report: AR aging summary - There were 4 letters sent out for delinquent water payments. The report was approved by Lloyd and seconded by Audrey.

Water Report: Lloyd reported that everything went well this past month. There was a motion to accept the report by Audrey, seconded by Bryan.

Audrey made a motion to accept the bills, seconded by Bryan.

Streeter Suites & Apartments: Audrey gave the report for December. All apartments are rented and everything is going well. Bryan made a motion to accept the report, seconded by Lloyd.

The grant application for the Water Tower Project was denied due to the City not meeting the Low to Moderate Income percentage required. The City will be looking into doing a survey to update these figures.

Waste Management has been missing residential pickups this past month. Any resident that has garbage missed should contact the City Auditor for another tote to accommodate the extra garbage until the problem has been corrected.

The hall rental contracts were discussed. The City will be charging for all days according to when the renter begins to bring items into the hall. Discounted pricing will be offered for days that items are in the hall but the renter is not. Also forfeit of deposits will be more strictly enforced in the future for not cleaning the hall and for damages. Motion to accept these changes by Bryan, seconded by Lloyd. Motion Carried.

Discussion was held regarding public urination between DJs Bar and Streeter Coop. It has been recommended by the council that the Bar and Coop try to come up with a solution. Suggestions will be given to both parties.

The next City Council Meeting will be February 11th @ 5:30pm.

Bryan made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Audrey. Motion carried.
