The James River Valley Library System will is hosting a “Food for Fines” food and toiletry drive through Feb. 11
People may bring in a nonperishable food or toiletry item to any branch of the James River Valley Library System between Jan. 11 and Feb. 11. and overdue fines will be forgiven.
Charges for lost or damaged items will not be forgiven; only overdue fines for materials that have been returned late will be forgiven.
All donations will be given to the local food pantries.

The Jamestown Parks and Recreation project is planned to begin in the fall of 2023.
