At the Dec. 16 Lions meeting, Kathy Boe opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Glen Nagel gave the table prayer.

During the business meeting, Tom Sanders reported on the recent blood drive hosted by the Lions. During the two-day event, over 100 units were drawn which was 30 units over the goal. Mitzi Hager collected donations from the members for the Salvation Army and those donations were matched up to $500 by the club.

In other business, Boe presented Sanders with the Centennial Membership Award from Lions Club International and as past district governor, Boe installed JaimeLee Cunningham as the club’s newest member. The meeting concluded with the annual raffle drawing. There were 14 winners out of the 100 tickets sold with prizes ranging from $100 to $2000. The club thanked all those who purchased a ticket as the funds raised will help support local, national and international causes.

The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Sabir's Buffalo City Grill. Guests and prospective members are welcome. For information on membership, contact Randy Lebahn, 701-320-1678.
