The 23rd annual Lions Buffalo Feed will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 519 First Ave. S., according to club President Sue Stoudt.
Tickets are $10 each and are available from Jamestown Lions members or by calling Mitzi Hager at 952-5685. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door.
Funds raised by the feed help nonprofit organizations. The event has contributed money to more than 40 organizations since it started 23 years ago.
Lions President Sue Stoudt called the club's meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. on Oct. 5. Present were 16 Lions members and guest speaker Taylor Barnes from the Arts Center.
The business portion of the meeting consisted of Dwaine Heinrich going over work assignments for the Buffalo Feed. Hager gave a report on the advance ticket sales for the event, which appear to be going well. Members are encouraged to continue to sell advance tickets and to be present to do their part to ensure the Buffalo Feed is a success.

Stoudt informed the group that the Medina Lions have invited the members to a zone meeting in Medina on Oct. 17.
During the program, Barnes reported on the Arts Center's renovation and described some of the programs that the Arts Center offers the community. The renovation project is on target with funding for the building in hand. However, money is still needed to purchase equipment for the interior.
The Arts Center provides extensive programming opportunities for all age groups. Programs include classes for adults, Second Saturday classes for grades 1-5, community theater, artists-in-residence programs in the schools, a large Arts After School program and others.
