The Montpelier Club met on Oct. 4 with 16 members present. The pledge was recited and the president opened the meeting. Jan Van Bruggen had a birthday. Millie Wilkinson pulled a joke on Harold Ratts and Maxine Toltzman had a page of comments by famous people.
Secretary and treasurer's reports were approved. The door prize went to Erna Buchholz.
Bingo was played with the following winners: small frame and large frame, Myrna Sarbaum, and blackout, Marlys Boughton.
Cards were played with the following winners: whist: high, Lorraine Jorgenson, low, Willie Kamletz, and deuce, Jorgenson, pinochle: high, Ratts, and low, Van Bruggen.
Lunch was furnished by the club.
