The Montpelier Club met on Sept. 6 with 14 members and one guest present. The pledge was said and Vice President Bob Sarbaeu opened the meeting. Harold Ratts, Jan Van Bruggen and Maxine Toltzman had readings to share.
President Marlys Boughton was absent because of surgery. Lorraine Gall was out because of an accident in her apartment. The secretary's and the treasurer's reports were read and approved. Lorraine Jorgenson reported that the corn feed was successful. A get-well card was signed by all present for Boughton. The door prize went to Marge Limesand.
Bingo was played with the following winners: small frame, Millie Wilkenson and Limesand; large frame, Erna Buchholz; and blackout, Limesand.
Cards were played with the following winners in whist, Myrna Sarbaum was high, Willie Keulitz was low and Alma Becker had deuce.
In pinochle, high was Harriet Karter and low was Jan Van Bruggen.
