Three $500 cash scholarships will be awarded at the Montpelier Pageant to be held Nov. 12. The pageant is seeking young women, high school seniors through age 24, to compete for these awards.
Main areas of competition include talent and interview.
Talents can be anything from singing, playing a musical instrument and dancing to monologues, comedic routines, ventriloquism and more. Women unsure if their talent idea is acceptable should ask.
Contestants gain interview, public speaking and presentation skills and every contestant will receive a $100 scholarship. Winners advance to the state competition in June to compete for thousands more in scholarship dollars. For more information, contact Kristen Lynch at kristen.lynch28@gmail.com or 701-269-4321 ).
