The Jamestown Regional Medical Center Auxiliary met July 2, led by Vice President Marlene Axtman. Erin Musland spoke to the group about the 2020 census, saying that for the first time citizens can fill out the census via phone or email.
Collective Goods will bring its business to the hospital for two days, Aug. 8-9. Gifts such as children’s books will be for sale, and the public is encouraged to come and shop. There will be a bake sale along with that the morning of Aug. 8.
The group voted to make and donate walker bags to the hospital. They were also encouraged to make and donate chemo caps (pattern/fabric available at Comforts of Home). The group is also still making burp cloths, baby hats and surgery pillows. These projects are done by volunteers, who do not need not be a member of the auxiliary to participate.
Facebook offers information on items available at the hospital gift shop. Doug Olson is available at the hospital to help anyone associated with the hospital with estate planning at no cost to the individual.
