OK Club to meet Dec. 5
The OK Club’s only meeting next month will be at noon Dec. 5 at the Legacy Center in Jamestown. There will be no business meeting. Bingo and cards will be played. Members will bring goodies to share for the afternoon Christmas party. Guests are welcome.
The OK Club met at the Legacy Center Nov. 21 with 10 members present. President Marlys Boughton opened the meeting and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Janet Van Bruggen read the story, “Lord, Keep Me Sweet.” The secretary and treasurer’s reports were approved as read. Boughton won the drawing for the meal ticket door prize. Officers elected for 2018: Elaine Heinrich, president; Marlys Boughton, vice president; Sharon Hatlewick, treasurer; and DeLette Winkelman, secretary.
Bingo was played with Norman Winkelman winning the small frame, MaryLee O’Meara won the large frame, and Van Bruggen won the blackout game. In whist, Hatlewick won high prize and Boughton won low. In pinochle Heinrich won high, and Patti DeBuck won low. Boughton furnished the lunch for the afternoon coffee hour in honor of her birthday on Nov. 29.
