The James Valley Pheasants Forever chapter will hold its annual banquet on Friday, March 9, at the Jamestown Knights of Columbus hall. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the prime rib dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Pheasants Forever precision agriculture and conservation specialist Melissa Shockman will give an update on habitat efforts in southeast North Dakota. Shockman is working with growers to implement alternative practices on nonprofitable acres to improve their return on investment while also providing benefits for soil health, water quality and wildlife.
Tickets can be purchased at Downtown Dental, at the door or online at pheasantsforeverevents.org . Proceeds go to support local youth and habitat project.
