The Jamestown Modern Woodmen chapter matched $2,500 to Prairie Paws Rescue from its recent Raise the Woof fundraiser, which raised a total of $8,945 including the matching contribution from the event on Feb. 3.

The match was from Modern Woodmen’s home office through the organization’s Matching Fund program. The money will be used for care and medical expenses for animal rescues.

The Matching Fund program offers modern Woodmen members nationwide to support a community cause, organization or individual in need by holding funds. Modern Woodmen matches money raised up to $2,500.
