Wilhelm Chevrolet GMC Buick and the James Valley Street Machines will host the 9th annual Car Show and 5K Run/Walk to raise money for the Huntington's Disease Society of America. The event will begin with set up at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21.
Last year, over 118 classic and muscle cars, trucks and rat rods were on display, with an estimated audience of 4,000 people. Proceeds will also go to the Stutsman County 4-H Club and in 2018, over $26,000 was raised.
Various prizes will be available through a raffle costing $20 a ticket. Rare vintage cars will be present from The Shed, an automobile museum in Warroad, Minnesota.
Registration for the car show is $15 before Sept. 15 or $20 after that date. For the 5K, registration before the day of the event is $20 for adults and $15 for youth and seniors. On the day of the event, registration is $25 for adults and $20 for youth and seniors.
