The JRMC Auxiliary has slowed down, with many fundraising events canceled due to the pandemic. However, there are a few projects coming.
Because public functions cannot happen at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, the Auxiliary will hold a “Pop Up” sale again at Babbs Coffee House meeting room featuring items normally offered at the Holiday Magic event. The sale will be held Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. These are open to the public.
Regina Olson, volunteer coordinator, said volunteers are needed as substitutes for the Surgery Center volunteer desk, and volunteers are needed to help stock the Patient Care Center. Volunteers need not be members of the Auxiliary.
Donations are still being accepted for the COVID-19 fundraiser, where members were asked to donate what they might have spent on fundraising projects, (such as a bake sale), which did not occur due to the pandemic.
