The Anne Carlsen Center was among the top fundraisers in its category for Giving Hearts Day in 2021, according to Dakota Medical Foundation, which hosts the event along with the Impact Foundation and the Alex Stern Family Foundation.

The 2021 event raised a record amount of more than $22 million for North Dakota and northwest Minnesota charities. The top 5 charity fundraising winners were announced for small-, medium-, and large-budget categories. The winners were:

Large-Budget:

  4. Oak Grove Lutheran School
  5. Great Plains Food Bank

The annual event saw 42,272 total donors help nearly 500 charity participants. There were over 7,000 more donors than in 2020, and this year’s total donations exceeded last year’s by $2.8 million.
