The OK Club met at the Legacy Center on July 19 with 10 members present. Vice President Elaine Heinrich opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Janet Van Bruggen read a story, “Life,” and quotes on “What the Bible Says.” Lorraine Gall told a joke. The secretary and treasurer’s reports were approved as read. Marlys Boughton wasn’t feeling well, so she didn’t attend the meeting. Sonia Berg will send her a card from the OK Club. Sharon Hatlewick won the meal ticket door prize drawing.

Bingo was played with Gall winning the small picture frame, and Heinrich winning the large frame. Harriet Kartes and Berg both won the blackout game. In whist, DeBuck won high prize, and DeLette Winkelman won the low prize. In pinochle, Kartes won high, and Gerald Van Bruggen won low. DeBuck furnished the cake with whipped topping for the afternoon coffee hour in honor of her 81st birthday on July 26.

The next meeting of the OK Club will be at noon on Aug. 2 at the Legacy Center in Jamestown. Guests are welcome to all meetings. Use the main entrance on the west side of the building.
