Jonathan Reich, Medina, N.D., and Marie Monson, Jamestown, are recipients of $1,000 scholarships from First Community Credit Union. Their academic excellence and wide involvement in extracurricular activities enabled them to achieve this accomplishment.
Reich is the son of Alvin and Rebecca Reich.
Monson is the daughter of Todd and Ruth Monson and plans to attend Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., in the fall.
This is the 14th year that FCCU's Board of Directors has awarded scholarships to first-year college students from its membership. FCCU gives out 10 $1,000 scholarships each year to members that demonstrate outstanding academic and extra curricular involvement.
The following North Dakota students will also receive scholarships toward college: Leah Haak, Valley City, Alissa Bettenhausen, Wishek, Jenna Gross, Napoleon, and Cassandra Kunze, Dazey.
