Beginning Experience of Eastern North Dakota is having a weekend retreat. BE is for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one through death, divorce, separation or break up. The retreat will be held at Maryvale Convent at Valley City. Beginning Experience is an international peer ministry to those who are separated, divorced and widowed. It is an invitational process that is intended to facilitate the resolution of grief, promote healing, and thereby free people to live and love themselves, others and God. The weekend program of presentations, personal reflection, and small group sharing is led by former participants who themselves are continuing to work through the grief process to heal their emotional wounds as they look forward to a new life. The program is spiritual in nature and is open to people of all faiths. To register, contact the Jamestown Beginning Experience support group. Contacts are Jay Wagner, 252-0525 or (701) 659-3319; Jim Walters, (701) 320-1334, or Dani Hennings, 252-3556, or find registration forms online at www.beginningexperienceofeasternnorthdakota.org .
