Safe Shelter's annual Rabbit Run and Bunny Hop Fun Run/Walk are scheduled on Saturday, June 19, at Harold Newman Arena on the University of Jamestown campus. Registration for the event opens on April 15, and participants may do so in person or virtually. The event will benefit Mary's Place at Safe Shelter.
There will be a 5K Rabbin Run/Walk for "serious" runners and walkers. The family fun 3K Bunny Hop Run/Walk will wind through the UJ campus and include treats for kids. Both routes start and end at Harold Newman Arena. Costumes are encouraged.
Check-in will begin at 8:15 a.m. and the run will start at 9 a.m. Registration is $25 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Registration for adults includes an event T-shirt.
