Service foundation elects officers

Gary Wolsky, president and CEO of The Children's Village Family Service Foundation and The Village Family Service Center, announced the election of officers to the foundation board of directors.

Gary Wolsky, president and CEO of The Children's Village Family Service Foundation and The Village Family Service Center, announced the election of officers to the foundation board of directors.

Earl Strinden, retired CEO of the University of North Dakota Alumni Association, was elected chair of the board of directors. Strinden is a native of Litchville, N.D., and earned his undergraduate degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and his master's degree from UND.

During Strinden's tenure at the UND Alumni Association, UND assets grew from $1 million in 1978 to more than $130 million in 2000. He also served a key role in North Dakota politics, capturing 10 consecutive legislative election victories and serving as the Republican majority leader in the House of Representatives.

Joining the board were Richard Hanson, Lyman Edds, Matthew Hallaway, Matt Leiseth and Roger Reierson.
