Jodi Bunde and Mary and Elden Englund hosted the Mid-Summers eve celebration for the June 15 Sons of Norway meeting. A potluck dinner was served with hot dogs on the grill.
Thirty-two members and guests attended. A brief meeting was held and five new members were officially inducted into membership. They received Sons of Norway pins, symbolizing international membership in the Sons of Norway organization. The new members are Andrea Eckstein, Karen Freeman, Genene Colbert and Judy and John Hatlewick.
Following the meeting, Jodi Bunde told Troll stories around a bonfire.
Volunteers are working on the garden plot and plan to plant flowers on the evening of the June 18.
The next meeting will be a Norwegian Luau potluck at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 17 at the home of Deb and John Gletne.
