The Jamestown College Convocation Committee will host performer, writer and illustrator Steve Stark as he presents "Theodore Roosevelt Illustrated History" at 7 p.m. Monday in the Nafus Student Center Level Two. The event is free and open to the public.
Stark will tell the stories of Theodore Roosevelt while drawing the tales in charcoal on 20-foot rolls of paper in front of his audience.
Stark has performed as Theodore Roosevelt since 1985 across North Dakota and 18 other states. He has studied rare voice recordings and motion pictures to give an accurate portrayal of the "Cowboy President." He has portrayed Roosevelt on the History Channel and History Channel International and was the voice of Roosevelt on an American History series on Public Radio International.
