Local Democratic-Nonpartisan League candidates from District 12 will be hosting a drive-thru event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at McElroy Park.
Boxed dinners will be delivered to vehicles passing by the Sertoma Shelter in the park for $12 a box or a freewill offering.
“There’s no need for people to get out of their vehicle, as we practice social distancing,” said Chad Elhard, District 12 chair. “Just roll down your window and we’ll deliver a delicious dinner to you.”
The meal includes a pulled pork sandwich, salad, chips, dessert and bottled water.
Sen. John Grabinger is seeking reelection to a third term in the North Dakota Senate. George Barnes and Pam Musland are seeking election in the House as District 12 representatives.
