Kiwanis member Eric Tuchscher introduced the speaker at the Jan. 29 Kiwanis Club meeting, LaDeen Knutson. She is the director of Victory Christian School in Jamestown. There are combination classes, so students are with other grades.

“We give families another choice,” Knutson said. “There’s smaller-size classrooms and we also talk through the faith piece, which is so important to us.”

President Jason Gruebele led the meeting attended by 25 members and four guests. Don Bentz led group singing accompanied by Tim Burchill Clarence Mittleider collected “Happy Dollars” for Prairie Paws. Jeff Wiedenmeyer will introduce Allen Presser from the North Dakota State Hospital at the next Kiwanis meeting on Feb. 12 at the Quality Inn & Suites.
