Mental Health America of North Dakota (MHAND) and ND Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health (NDFFCMH) invites the public to view the Facebook live feed of the 35th annual Celebration of Lights tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 4:30 pm.
Due to COVID-19, the Celebration of Lights ceremony will be virtual and broadcast on Facebook Live. The North Dakota first lady, the lieutenant governor and Sandi Sanford will host the event with pre-recorded messages prior to the tree lighting. This event will combine the events normally held in Bismarck and the State Hospital in Jamestown. This event is free and open to the public.
The Celebration of Lights tree lighting events held in Bismarck, Fargo and Jamestown offer a unique way to honor a family member, friend, or loved one and help your community at the same time. Honoring others is a wonderful way to start your holiday season in the spirit of sharing and caring.
