"Anything Goes," a musical presented by the Jamestown College Theater Department, is at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday in the Reiland Fine Arts Center's DeNault Auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be reserved by calling the JC box office at 252-3467, ext. 2435, or e-mailing tickets@ jc.edu.

The Valley Children's Choir performs at 3 p.m. Sunday in Froemke Auditorium on the Valley City State University campus in Valley City. There is no admission charge, but freewill donations will be accepted to support the choir.

"Buckshot and Blossoms," a comedy western presented by the Edgeley Community Theater, is at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14, in the Edgeley High School gym. Tickets are $10 and include a dessert buffet. To reserve tickets call Marlene Ham at 701-493-2961.

The Jamestown College Concert Band performs at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, in the Reiland Fine Arts Center's DeNault Auditorium. There is no admission charge.

"Theory of Mind," presented by Mixed Blood Theatre of Minneapolis, is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the Reiland Fine Arts Center's DeNault Auditorium. The presentation is hosted by the Jamestown College Convocation Committee. There is no admission charge.

Jazz pianist Paul Asaro, presented by the Valley City Area Concert Association, performs at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in Vangstad Auditorium on the Valley City State University campus. Membership in the VCACA concert series is $30 for adults, $12 for students and $65 for a family. Call Diane Skroch at 701-845-1848. Memberships are also available at the door.

The Holiday Dazzle on Main Parade is at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, along First Avenue in Jamestown. The parade starts from McElroy Park and the route is Second Avenue to Eighth Street Southeast, over to First Avenue and ending at Third Street North. Around Town

"Seeing America on Four Bald Tires and a Tank of Gas," a presentation by Ward Wilkins in the Barnes County Historical Society Lecture Series, is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the Barnes County Museum in Valley City. There is no admission charge, but freewill donations are accepted.

Open Mic Night, hosted by local musician John Crowston, is from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays at Babb's Coffee House. The open session is available to anyone wanting to perform.

National Buffalo Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sundays by appointment. Admission: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and AAA members, $10 for a family and $1 for children ages 6 to 18.

Alfred Dickey Public Library hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. To access the Story Line, call 252-7464.

Storytime is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Alfred Dickey Public Library. The theme is "Achoo!"

The Arts Center, located at 115 Second St. S.W., Jamestown, is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. There is no admission charge.

The Putnam House in Carrington is open for special events and by appointment by calling 701-652-2090. There is no admission charge.

The Barnes County Historical Museum, 315 Central Ave. N., Valley City, is open year round from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission is a freewill donation.

Art

Arts After Work is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the Arts Center. The class on Monday is origami -- folding like a pro. Cost: $5 for Arts Center members and $7 for others.

Bits and Pieces, an exhibit of artwork and writing by Sue Morrissey and Mike Morrissey, is on display through Dec. 4 at the Arts Center. There is no admission charge.

Classes in dry wool needle felting, taught by Darcie Hartman Grager, are at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday at the Putnam House in Carrington. Cost: $25. Preregistration is required. Call Alison at 701-652-2090. A trunk show displaying Grager's work is from noon to 1 p.m.

The artwork of John Scherbenske is on display in the November exhibit at Unison Bank. Each month a different artist is featured.
